I make ceramics that retain the texture of clay, the flow of glaze, and the marks left by fire. Within the rough and smooth grains of the surface lies a quiet vitality, and the beauty of chance revealed through the irregular paths of glaze is a vital part of my work.

 

I respect the inherent properties of natural materials and seek sculptural balance within them. By sensing the resistance of clay and the depth of glaze, I listen to the touch of my hands as I shape each form.

 

My pieces are both functional vessels and sensory objects—
things that, when looked at, invite deeper layers of perception.
I hope that a small object placed in a quiet corner of the day
might gently speak, and that encountering it becomes a subtle resonance in daily life.

 

To me, making ceramics is an act of tracing the essence of things—
a process of inscribing the story of my fingertips onto the time-bound surface of clay.
